Sika Brushcoat-WP

Cementitious waterproofing slurry.

Sika® Brushcoat-WP is a cementitious two part polymer-modified product which is mixed to a slurry consistency and applied to concrete and mortar to provide waterproofing.

Features:

• Good adhesion to sound substrates.
• Waterproofs and damp proofs masonry surfaces.

• Sika® Brushcoat-WP will bridge pre-existing static hair-line cracks and is effective for waterproofing the following areas:
  • Terraces and balconies
  • RC gutters
  • Bathroom floors and walls
  • Planter boxes

• Colour:
  • Part A: White liquid
  • Part B: Grey powder
  • Parts A + B: Grey slurry (mixed)

• Packaging:
  • Part A: 4.5 kg container
  • Part B: 18.0 kg bags
  • Parts A + B: 22.5 kg set

Shelf Life

• 6 months from the date of production.

Storage Conditions

• Store properly in original, unopened and undamaged sealed packaging in dry conditions at temperatures between +5 °C and +30 °C. Protect from direct sunlight, rain and water.

Density

• ~2.0 kg/l (Parts A + B mixed)

Pot Life

• 30 minutes at 30 °C (maximum open time). Potlife is shorter at higher temperatures.

Waiting Time / Overcoating

• Overcoating with cementitious materials – allow the second coat to harden for at least 3 days, prior to overcoating.
• Overcoating with non-cementitious materials – please refer to our Technical Service Department.
